The Goal

Pecos Valley Counseling was created in an attempt to combat addiction.

By providing sober living households in tandem with community support workers, we set out to have a greater success rate than other sober living programs.

Demonstrating assistance

Promoting accountability among our households encourages personal responsibilities.

Giving recovering addicts and those in need of community support services a safe place to stay and get back on their feet.

Rethinking sober living households as not only a gateway to sobriety, but also a resource to become stable and independent .

Comprehensive Community

Support Services (CCSS)

We promote resiliency, rehabilitation, and recovery.

Sometimes we face challenges that aren't exactly clinical. This could be learning new skills or accessing community resources. Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) is a partnership between the client and family to support the client in reaching their goals and address barriers. CCSS focuses on five living domains: Independent living, Learning, Employment, Socialization, and Recreation.

5 Domains of CCSS

1. Learning: Supporting educational goals, whether it's finishing high school, attending college or vocational training.

2. Employment: Helping residents find and maintain employment, including resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation.

3. Socializing: Encouraging the development of healthy relationships and social networks.

4. Recreation: Promoting engagement in recreational activities that support a balanced lifestyle.

5. Independent Living: Assisting residents with skills needed for daily living such as budgeting, cooking, and time management.
